RV trailers are becoming more and more popular, I think toy hauler trailers in particular. We've had three different trailers in the past six years. A Tahoe 28' bumper pull, a 33' Wanderer Wagon fifth wheel, and a Laredo 26' fifth wheel made by Keystone. All of them have had their quirks but the manufacturer and/or dealer has usually been helpful. Although I like the comfort of the Laredo, the customer service (and I'm being generous using that term) has been terrible. Things that were on the equipment list weren't included, the stereo was junk, we had problems with door latches, thermostat, and the air conditioner. We had to fix all of these our self because of the incompetence of the dealership and manufacturer. The most recent issue was the wrong, spare tire, wheel, carrier, and tire cover was supplied with the trailer. It wasn't noticed during the warranty period since there were no flat tires during the warranty period. One of the trailer tires went flat over the winter so I discovered the problem with the spare. It was obviously a mistake at the factory since everything 'wrong' matched. I called the factory. The response I received was that it was my responsibility to make sure everything like this correct. I guess I should get a salary from Keystone for being part of there 'final inspection' staff. They politely said they wouldn't do anything about the problem; No exchange for the correct tire, no "we're sorry", just "we won't help you". Beware of Keystone products!!!
